In this video, I'd like to take you through what we've been up to lately for fans release 5.71 to 5.77. I'll build in some useful links so you can skip over them if something doesn't interest you. First of all, I will discuss the general developments, you should think of the user import which has improved, speed of Procademy, unsubscribe for participants, other participants subscribe from the catalogue and we have renewed our CBR/CCV certification so for the logistics sector. We have improved the dashboards, I will tell more about that for example for managers, we have added a knowledge base widget and progress reporting has been improved. In addition, we have also done a lot of bugfixes, a number of which I am going to address and discuss further.
When you talk about Security and Quality, we have also taken various steps, for example, we have done a major update to improve the technology under Procademy , such as making it work faster and making it more secure. And we cleaned up the code, which is good for the reliability of the platform, so that if you continue to develop, you do so on the basis of clean code. We have been busy with automated testing, which means that when we perform an update, but also before an update, we can press a button and Procademy will automatically test whether everything still works as it should. We do this to further improve the quality. We are working on integrating the support portal into Procademy, so that when you log in as administrator you can see which tickets you have submitted and what is going on. We have been working on integrations, such as the AFAS connection that has been renewed and improved, the Google SSO connection, so if you work with Google Apps you can also log into Procademy. We have integrated with Pay.nl, a payment provider, and we have also supported PE-online, in which you can keep track of accreditation points if you complete an e-learning via LTI.
We are also working on a number of larger betá functions. The new user management is on in many environments, so that you can manage users more easily, almost all Procademy environments can work with this now. We still need to add that you can also change the schedule of the individual user, that will follow. The new content editor also still has our attention this is a big project we are working on.
In this video you can click to the topic you find interesting, you can also watch the video completely of course. First of all to the user import, the biggest change is that Procademy now also recognises existing participants directly. So if you have an excel-document with the participants in it and you want to add them to the environment and you copy and paste and then click on next, Procademy will immediately show you if any existing accounts can be matched.
So when you do the import, existing accounts are updated. An existing participant is then placed in a new group, or given an extra training profile. An extra role of can also be assigned via the user import. This is particularly useful if you have been working with Procademy for some time and have many active users. Now you can see the progress immediately, so those are some nice improvements!
We have improved the speed in several areas in Procademy . The groups table, if you work with many groups it works a lot smoother now. We have also sped up the user management, if you have a lot of users with a lot of groups, you will also see that the new users again works a lot faster. The large learning paths were also a bit slow at the beginning of this year, this we have also improved by revising the technique a bit. The speed of the catalogue has also been improved, also when you have a full catalogue it was a bit slow, but now it is a lot faster.
The third thing we have developed is that participants can unsubscribe themselves in a nicer way, we already had a meeting cancellation, so you can indicate I am not coming to the meeting but what we have added is that a participant can also unsubscribe himself from the group completely. You can activate this function if you want.
If the unsubscribe function is turned on, you can activate it for each learning path. Being able to unsubscribe yourself is of course not always desirable, so you can make that choice yourself. If you want this (self unsubscribe for participants). Let us know and we will activate it for you. A small security is that if the participant is going to unsubscribe then a confirmation is asked so if the participant misses a click then you do not have an immediate problem.
We have also added an order for others, so that you can register other participants from within the catalogue. So for example, your customer can enrol multiple participants from a pop-up in the catalogue. For example the HR manager or training manager who does this. We have arranged it so that the main order taker who registers the participants gets it on the confirmation of the order that has been placed. The participants just get the account email and the schedule. If this is relevant to you, please let us know so we can activate it in your environment and share instructions with you.
We have added a mail function so that when you log in as a manager and click on your team, you can see how the team is doing and also take action. In the screenshot you can see that you can select participants or all at once and then click on email Send a message at once and use the filters
This allows you to quickly send people a message to remind them of their mandatory training. This gives the manager an extra tool to keep insight and to remind. The manager sees a pop-up in which the e-mail can be composed, so you can enter subject and text, and an attachment is possible. The messages that managers send are also visible in the "Sent messages", so you can also find the communication there.
In terms of dashboards, we have also improved the progress report. This is a report for teachers to click through to from the dashboard. In the menu at the top you will find the link, the progress report is a new way of seeing the progress of your learners and where you can click through. Also if you work with "Toets" tiles, you will find the results here.
In the progress report you will find the result of the assessment and you can see at a glance who has achieved it and click through to the results. You can use this report in addition to the regular report (certification overview)
This report was developed for teachers to see in a pleasant way how far a participant has come
in a course. The regular reports that can be found in the reporting menu provide much more detail, i.e. what they have done exactly, the time spent is more directly visible and in the progress report you can click on it and it gives you a quick picture of where the participants are in their course.
Check out the reporting in the teacher role. We have added a knowledge base widget. It is possible to exchange files within the academy, both between participants and between teacher and participant. For example, you can download or exchange handouts or literature.
We have created a widget so that you can also show the dashboard on the group detail When you log in as a participant and you click on the detail page of a training course (via groups widget)
then you come to a detail screen of the training you are following and you can also show there what the shared files are and next to for example the social area. If you want to add this to the dashboard, please let us know if we can help by sending a message to support.
In addition, we have also implemented bug fixes. I will discuss some of the more obvious bugs. There were problems with issuing the learning path certificates. The certificate was not always issued, especially in combination with an LTI e-learning. This has been solved. There was also a problem with a test. So if you tile a test in the learning path.
We have now fixed this. Fixes have also been made for the catalogue, think of the shopping basket visibility and also the price rules that you can set for specific customer groups. The preregistration status has been improved.
With a pre-registration, a participant can register himself if there are no more options left to register for. The preregistrations will appear on a list that you, as administrator, can view, for example, scheduling new training sessions if there are many preregistrations.
If you want to work with pre-registrations, please let us know and we will activate it. You can then indicate yourself in the learning path whether you want to activate the function. We have also solved that the status is now properly updated. If options were available again, this would not be shown immediately. This has been solved. The next point is that when you partially schedule a group
For example, if one meeting has not been scheduled, you can still register for it as an administrator. We also have the option that you can show a pop-up after logging in, where the participant has to fill in certain fields that are mandatory. The pop-up did not always appear, this is solved. The pop-up is shown properly again so that participants can fill it in.
Withdrawing an order now also changes the order status properly. So that if you had completed it, it will now return to the status that action is required. We have also implemented a fix for the manager dashboard in the area of competence.
The validity was not always shown properly, which we have fixed. All fixes and improvements can of course be found on the release page. We release an update every three or four weeks. You can always check release.procademy. nl for the latest updates.
We also want to activate this in your dashboard so that you can easily click through. Briefly, what's coming up?
A big development are the new groups screens so basically the same thing we have done for the users that you get a new user management there you also get a new group management you can choose to work with the new group management soon We leave this active for a while as a beta function and then it will become the new standard as soon as the bugs/conveniences are fixed.
In the new group screens, we are looking again at how to schedule a class or a team when you are mainly training internal participants.
There are many great improvements to come. In the dashboard we will also show the difference between active and archived training courses when a participant enters the system
So if you archive a training, the training goes to the history tab. The participant can choose this himself. We also want to improve the navigation for the assessment of assignments. The instructor will be able to click through assignments more easily and search terms and filters will be added.
The Procademy Spaces, for which we held a session at the end of last year and in January. We also want to take steps there, so that when you post a message in the space, you can do so in a good way with different forms of content. So that you can easily share an image and also a video.
The elaboration of the whole concept of the Procademy Spaces is something we are eager to get to grips with.
Finally, we want to improve the public roadmap. We would like to show what we are working on and where you can find submitted improvements. All your submitted improvements are registered, and we have an overview of them. We are still determining how you can display this in a pleasant way so that it is clear what we are already working on. We have not yet found the egg of Columbus, but we will do so on roadmap.procademy.nl. So that it is a place where you can always see what is coming in terms of improvements and new functionality.
Bugs and incidents remain in the support environment so you can check the status there. We would like to develop together with the customer so that together we can take Procademy to the next level.
