Now we are truly learning from and with each other.
CVO (Christian Secondary Education) employs 2,500 staff and provides education to more than 21,000 students in the Rotterdam region. But what about internal learning? Until recently, this mainly took place within the individual school groups, often using separate forms and fragmented initiatives. Until CVO decided that this had to change.
The CVO Academy as the heart of the organization
Under the leadership of Sanne Kamphuisen, CVO quickly built a central learning environment for all employees. Procademy a place where knowledge sharing, inspiration, and interaction come together. By 2025, the academy already had 245 learning activities: from masterclasses to CVO Talks, and a large-scale knowledge festival with almost 2,000 participants.
Why Procademy?
“We didn't want a standard offering with some space for our own content,” says Sanne. “At Procademy , you Procademy the content, pace, and direction yourself. We can respond quickly to the needs of schools. The platform is intuitive, secure, and accessible to everyone from grade 3 to grade 16.”
Learn your way
Each employee chooses how they want to learn: via a podcast, workshop, or educational café. "We don't do 300 things, but 100 things in three ways." The result? An engaged learning organization in which professionals know where to find each other, even across school boundaries.
Procademy a partner
In addition to being a platform provider, Procademy is Procademy a sparring partner. "They really think along with us, take initiative, and are there when things get tough. That makes all the difference."
