"We are literally opening the eyes of healthcare professionals."
Royal Visio supports people with visual impairments throughout the Netherlands in living as independently as possible. Visio's 2,900 employees work daily to support these clients as best they can. Their work requires professionalism, creativity and flexibility. The organization therefore continuously invests in the development and renewal of knowledge, with Procademy s learning platforms as an important pivot.
When Visio's Learning Management Software became end-of-life, the organization began a thorough search for a new vendor. "Together with our Back Office Coordinator, we conducted the search broadly. We collected the needs and requirements from management, board, colleagues and participants. We drew up a comprehensive MoSCoW prioritization (must-have, should-have, could-have, won't-have), in which accessibility was one of our most important criteria, along with 93 other points. We also visited companies that were already working with the targeted software. In the end, seven candidates remained. From our table with all the pluses and minuses on thirty items, Procademy clearly came out on top, with many more pluses than the others," says Advisor HRD Eline van der Voort.
"Within a year, our combined offerings grew from two to forty courses."
Now there is an internal Learning Square with learning management software, e-learnings, course administration, catalog and integrations with GoodHabitz, Noordhoff, AFAS and Microsoft Entra. In 2023 followed the Visio Education Square for education professionals and in 2024 the platforms Knowledge About Vision and Learning About Vision, with the partnership between Bartiméus, Visio and the Robert Coppes Foundation and the interest groups Eye Association and Macula Association.
